Feel the chill in the air?

That chill is coming from the zamboni making it's rounds on the ice surface getting ready for another hockey season! The Nashville Predators kick off the season tonight with the first preseason game in Columbus, OH.

I was a partial season ticket holder for the Predators last year, but with the 5 hour roundtrip, and hotel stays, I can't afford them this year. I will go to a few games before the season is over, but I can't afford going to 13 games like last year.

For some strange reason, I got a postcard in the mail yesterday from the Predators inviting me and guest to a reception with the players and execs next Saturday. After the reception, I get two free tickets to see the Predators play the Carolina Hurricanes that night. I'm not sure why i got the card since I'm not a current season ticket holder, but it's free, so I'm going!

- - Why not? What else are you gonna do? I'm not sure what the overall theme of the blog is gonna be, but I will do my best to keep you entertained while you are here.
